Read and write Pro Tools sessions
2
OMF and AAF import and export
3
Conversion between many DAWs and video editors
4
Fades, clip gain, automation and markers preserved
Track layout and mix data survive the move between systems.
5
Media extraction from OMF
Why it is hard
Pro Tools and other session formats are undocumented and change between versions, and AAF and OMF files differ between applications.
